Question 639974
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Substitute the given value of *[tex \LARGE t] into *[tex \LARGE v\ =\ 32t]. Calculate the value of *[tex \LARGE v]. Create the ordered pair *[tex \LARGE (t,\,v)] using the given value of *[tex \LARGE t] and the calculated value of *[tex \LARGE v].

Note: *[tex \LARGE t] at the moment the rock is released is equal to zero.

Note: The second part of your question asks about the velocity <b><i>after</i></b> *[tex \LARGE t\ =\ 4]. The calculation of *[tex \LARGE v] using *[tex \LARGE t\ =\ 4] will give you the velocity at the exact instant *[tex \LARGE t\ =\ 4]. All you know about any time after that is that the velocity will be greater than that calculated. Personally, I would write the answer as *[tex \LARGE (>4,>128)] and challenge the teacher/instructor/professor/whatever to prove me wrong.

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi}\ +\ 1\ =\ 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
