Question 639567

My teacher was asking us to find the slope of the lines described. The question was "The line with X intercept 3 and y intercept -2." How do I find this?

An x-intercept of 3 indicates a coordinate point of: (3, 0)

A y-intercept of - 2 indicates a coodinate point of: (0, - 2)

Slope, or m = {{{(y[2] - y[1]) / (x[2] - x[1])}}}, or {{{(- 2 - 0)/(0 - 3)}}}, or {{{highlight_green(2/3)}}}
