Question 638248
a circular dart board is divided into 4 sectors. 150^(0) of it is green, the second part is 90^(0) of the color red, 80^(0) is blue and 40^(0) is red. { please note that i have not make any errors in copying the question and i clearly specify that in my book the red color is mentioned two times}
------------
The total of the sectors = 360 degrees so I guess we can
assume there are 2 red sectors.
--------------------------------------
calculate the probability that the dart hits
:1.the green sector:::P(green) = 150/360 = 5/12
-------------------------------
:2.the blue sector:::P(blue) = 80/360 = 2/9
-----------------------------------
:3.not blue:: P(not blue) = 7/9
-------------------------------------
:4.a red sector.:::P(red) = (90+40)/360 = 130/360 = 13/36

what i would like to know is that whether the total number of favourable outcomes is in degrees?? and how to calculate the 4th part of it.
