The *[tex \LARGE y]-coordinate of the *[tex \LARGE y]-intercept is 6. The *[tex \LARGE y]-intercept is *[tex \LARGE (0,6)]. An intercept is a point. You cannot designate a point with a number, it must (at least for points in *[tex \LARGE \mathbb{R}^2]), be designated by an ordered pair (or ordered triple in 3-space, or ordered quadruple in 4-space, etc.).

Plot the *[tex \LARGE y]-intercept. Move 4 units to the right and then 5 units down and plot a second point. Draw a line through the two points.
