Question 637114
The definition of slope is ( change in y ) / ( change in x )
You need either 2 points on a curve or the equation
of that curve to find the slope.
When the equation is in the form {{{ y = m*x + b }}},
{{{ m }}} is the slope, so if the equation is
{{{ f(x) = 3x + 4 }}}, the slope is {{{ 3 }}}
-------------
Note that {{{ y = f(x) }}}, and you can use either definition.
