Hi,
The <u>unit's digit of a two-digit number is twice the ten's digit</u>{{{highlight(x)}}}. 
Twice the original number is 12 more than number in reversed order.
Question states***CENTS makes sense
{{{ 2(10*x + 1*2x)= (10*2x + 1*x) + 12 }}}
              3x = 12
               x = 4, ten's digit, the one's digit is 8 

and...
 {{{2*48 = 96 = 84 + 12}}}
