Question 631261
The smallest of three consecutive integers is added to twice the largest ,the result so obtained is fifteen less than three times the middle integer .find the integers
-------
1st: x-1
2nd: x
3rd: x+1
--------------
Equation:
2(x+1)+x-1 = 3x - 15
---
2x+2+x-1 = 3x-15
3x +1 = 3x-15
---
That is a contradiction.
The conditions cannot be met by any three consecutive integers.
