Question 631036
X intercept implies y value is zero.
-3x+4y=-6 so -3x=-6
ie -3x/-3 = -6/-3
and x = 2 so x intercept is (2,0)
Y intercept implies x value is zero.
-3x+4y=-6 so 4y=-6
ie 4y/4=-6/4
and y = -1.5 so y intercept is (0,-1.5)
To find a third point rearrange the equation to get y=
ie y=(3x-6)/4
Choose any value you want for x and use this equation to find the matching y value.
eg if x = 6 then y = 3 so another point would be (6,3)
or x = 1 then y = - 0.75 so another point would be (1,-0.75)
etc
