Question 57840
Hi Danielle,
{{{C=nE/(R+nr)}}}; find n.
{{{C(R+nr)=nE(R+nr)/(R+nr)}}} Multiply both sides by the Denominator on the right.
{{{CR+Cnr=nE}}} Distirbute the C.
{{{CR+Cnr-Cnr=nE-Cnr}}} Get all the things with n's on one side of the = sign.
{{{CR=n(E-Cr)}}} Factor out the n.
{{{CR/(E-Cr)=n(E-Cr)/(E-Cr)}}} Divide both sides by (E-Cr)
{{{CR/(E-CR)=n}}} You're done!!!
{{{highlight(n=CR/(E-CR))}}} It's more traditional to have the variable on the left.
Happy Calculating, Danielle!!!
