We'll be moving the decimal back one spot to the left when we're done.


Now multiply 5 and 5 to get 25


Then write 25 as 25.0


and then move the decimal point 1 spot to the left to get <font color="red">2.5</font>


So 0.5 times 5 is <font color="red">2.5</font>
