You aren't making yourself clear.  Do you want the total distance travelled?  If so, just add up the three distances.  Or do you want the displacement from the starting point?  In this case you need to calculate the measure of the hypotenuse of a right triangle that has legs of 12 and 5.  Use the Pythagorean Theorem.
