I think it is twice your answer.
to get the side we use the formula for Radius and manipulate it to get side. Ris given as 3

{{{R = sqrt(3)* side/3}}}
{{{3 = sqrt(3) * side/3}}}
{{{9 = sqrt(3) * side}}}
{{{side = 9/sqrt(3)}}}
{{{side = 5.19}}}
Then
{{{Area =sqrt(3)*side^2/4}}}
which works out to about 11.664, which is very nearly 27/4 sqrt(3)
