Question 621026
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Sorry, but your demand function makes no sense at all. Anything greater than $1.11 as a retail price for the book means that you sell a negative number of books.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 10000\ -\ 9000(1.11)\ = 10] books sold

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 10000\ -\ 9000(1.12)\ = -80] books sold

How do you sell a negative number of books? Have the customers write them and then you pay them?

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
