Hi,
Two cars, one traveling 10 mph faster than the other, traveling {{{highlight(x)}}}mph
 start at the same time from the same point and travel in {{{opposite}}} directions.
In 3 hours they are 300 miles apart.  D = rt
  {{{(x+10mph)*3hr + x*3hr  = 300mi}}}
    6x = 270mi
     x = 270/6 = 45mph. The faster train is traveling 55mph
