Question 42696
To find excluded values in functions
1. Set anything inside a square root sign >=0.
2. Set the denominator (before simplifying...i.e. before any cancelling) to zero.

The solutions to either of those steps - values that make an expression in the denominator =0 or in a square root sign <0, are excluded.

In this case set 5=0. That never happens. Nothing is excluded.
