Question 616183
Well, the area of a circle is found by using the formula {{{pi}}} {{{r^2}}}

if you know the diameter is 6 ft then the radius is half of that i.e. 3 ft

so now you put this into the formula above:

{{{pi}}} {{{3^2}}}

= 9 {{{pi}}}

as {{{pi}}} = 3.14

= 9 x 3.14

= 28.26 ft^2
