Hi,
Write the equation of the quadratic function with roots 6 and 10 and a vertex at (8, 2).
Using the vertex form of a parabola, {{{y=a(x-h)^2 +k}}} where(h,k) is the vertex
 y = a(x-8)^2 + 2
 0 = a(-2)^2 + 2
 -2/4 = a = -1/2
 y = (-1/2)(x-8)^2 + 2
