Question 611047
    Since I can't put the problem on here, I'll tell you what to draw. A right triangle with the 90 degrees on the bottom left, bottom right angle is 65 degrees, bottom let is 10, hypotenuse is x. Find x. I need to solve this using sin, cos, and tan. I'm not quite sure which one to use and how to set up the problem. Thank you!
.
I assume you meant the "bottom length" is 10.
.
because you know two of the three angles, you can determine the third angle as:
180-(90+65) = 25 degrees
.
You  can apply cosine:
cos = adjacent/hypotenuse
cos(65) = 10/x
x = 10/cos(65)
x = 23.66
.
Or, you can apply sine:
sin = opposite/hypotenuse
sin(25) = 10/x
x = 10/sin(25)
x = 23.66
