Question 606219
We know that the equation of a line can always be written in the form
{{{y=mx+b}}} where m is the slope of the line and b is the y intercept of the line(keep in mind for other questions that the y intercept of a line always has an x value of 0 for it).

Using this we have
{{{m=4}}}
and a point that we can use:
{{{x=1}}}
{{{y=-4}}}

Now substituting these points into our line equation we will solve for b:
{{{y=mx+b}}}
{{{-4=4*1+b}}}
{{{-4=4+b}}}
{{{-4-4=b}}}
{{{b=-8}}}

So we have our equation for our line!
{{{y=4x-8}}}

Hopefully this all is clear!(let me know if not:) )
