Question 603210
x^-3/4=8^-1
I know you have to make like bases but how do I do that with an 8 and x?
also..
----
x^(-3/4) = 8^(-1)
------
x^(-3/4) = 2^(-3)
----
[x^(-3/4)]^(-4/3) = [2^(-3)]^(-4/3)
-----
x = 2^4
x = 16

7^(a-sqrt b) * 7^(a+sqrt b)= 2a is what he has for an answer, why do the 7s cancel out in this chapter? He is sure they do, I thought the answer would be 49^2a
