Question 601499
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

I think you mean <i>if the <b>sum of the measures of the angles of the </b>triangle is 180 degree<b>s</b></i>. Well, in the first place why say <b><i>If</i></b> -- what else could it be? Hence, the condition on the problem is redundant.

Let *[tex \Large x] represent the measure of angle A. Then:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x\ +\ 4x\ +\ 5x\ -\ 20\ =\ 180]

Solve for *[tex \Large x], then calculate *[tex \Large 4x], and *[tex \Large 5x\ -\ 20]. Check your work by adding the results for the three angles to verify that the sum is 180.

*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
