Sorry.  What you ask cannot be done.  You cannot solve for *[tex \LARGE x] if there is no *[tex \LARGE x] in your equation.  Also, if by log6 you mean "the base 6 logarithm", *[tex \LARGE \log_6], then write it like this:  log_6.  Putting your argument in parentheses is the correct thing to do.
