Impossible to tell.  Pumpkins are irregularly shaped objects.  A sphere with radius *[tex \LARGE r] has a surface area given by:


*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ A\ =\ 4\pi{r^2}]


The expression describing the surface area of a pumpkin would undoubtedly involve pumpkin *[tex \LARGE \pi].  Whipped cream anyone?
