Dropped a rock off a building it's speed doubles every second.  It took 10 seconds to hit the ground. What fraction of distance would it travel in 8 seconds?  Need formula and solution .

Gravity doesn't work like that, the speed doesn't double every second.
So, I don't know what formula you want.
