Multiply NUM and DEN by x^(7/4)
= 1/2x^(4/3 + 7/4)
= 1/2x^(37/12)

Multiply NUM and DEN by x^(11/12) to eliminate fractional exponents in the DEN.
= x^(11/2)/2x^4

I have been stuck trying to work this out all day, it says the answer is:
