Question 55481
how can u simplfy radicals when there are variables involved and there is a number on the outside of the square root?
Let me show you an example:
{{{2sqrt(12x^3)}}}
{{{2*sqrt(4x^2)*sqrt(3x)}}} Separate any factor that is a perfect square in this case, cube if you had a cubed root.
{{{2(2x)*sqrt(3x)}}}  Take the root.
{{{4x*sqrt(3)}}} Multiply it by the number and or variable outside.
Happy Calculating!!!
