Question 592742
please help me solve this system of equations: {{{-3x-2y+3z=-1}}} {{{2x+5y-3z=-6}}} {{{4x+3y+3z=22}}}

I tried this several different times by hand, but I can't get it. Using my graphing calculator, which also does equations, I received the following answers: x= 4.192307692, y= -1.269230769, z=3.012820513
However, I am not a calculator and I can't understand how the answer was reached. Please help me.

(As a side note, I had to transfer the answers to decimals - they were in the fractions: X= four and five twenty-sixths, Y= neg one and seven twenty=sixths, and z= three and one seventy-eighth.)

any help you can give, preferably with your work showed, would be most definitely appreciated. Thank you and God bless you for your
time!

I did it on my TI-84 and got simply (x,y,z) = (4,-1,3). Maybe you keyed
in something wrong. If you need help ask me in the thank-you note. I'll
email you back. No charge. I do this for kicks.

The answer I got is correct. Here's the check:

{{{-3x-2y+3z=-1}}}
{{{-3(4)-2(-1)+3(3)=-1}}}
{{{-12+2+9=-1}}}
{{{-1 = -1}}}

{{{2x+5y-3z=-6}}}
{{{2(4)+5(-1)-3(3)=-6}}}
{{{8-5-9=-6}}}
{{{-6=-6}}}

{{{4x+3y+3z=22}}}
{{{4(4)+3(-1)+3(3)=22}}}
{{{16-3+9=22}}}
{{{22=22}}}
