You can't re-write *[tex \LARGE -3x\ -\ 5y\ =\ 10] into *[tex \LARGE y\ =\ mX\ +\ b] form.  That is because *[tex \LARGE x] and *[tex \LARGE X] are two different things.


If you want to re-write to *[tex \LARGE y\ =\ mx\ +\ b] form, then add *[tex \LARGE 3x] to both sides and then multiply by *[tex \LARGE -\frac{1}{5}]
