Using trial and error can be quite painful.  Starting with 35, the only factors possible are 1 and 35, and 5 and 7.  There are several sets of factors for 36:  1 and 36; 2 and 18; 3 and 13; 4 and 9; 6 and 6.<br>
Let's try using 5 and 7 for the factors of 35, and 6 and 6 for 36:  {{{(6x-5)(6x-7)}}}.  That works!  If it didn't, we would have to painstakingly go through the list to see which ones satisfy the condition from the first paragraph above.
