Question 584486
A)x^2+3x-10
1)find 2 factors of negeative ten that add to 3. If there are none then solve the unfactorable by doing this:
A1)make it a binomial ie. x^2+3x=10
A2)find a c value by dividing 3/2 and squaring it. ie. x^2+3x+3/2^2=10 and then doing that to get x^2+3x+9/4=10
A3)make it a sq. Binomial ie. (x+3/2)^2=10
A4) solve it ie.x=-3/2 plus or minus the square root of 10.
If you can get that you can get them all. Good luck!
