Question 54886
I'm not sure you stated this problem the way you meant for it to be stated, and I may be way off base with this, but I'm going to try it anyway. I think the problem you meant to ask is{{{ ln(1/(root(5,e))) }}}. Tell me if this is what you meant to ask?

If so, then remember that {{{x^(1/5) = root(5,x)}}} and that {{{x^-1=1/x}}}.  Put these together and you have {{{x^(-1/5)= 1/(root(5,x))}}}

This last statement in reverse, using "e" to replace the x, looks like this:{{{1/(root(5,e))=e^(-1/5)}}}

Now,
{{{ ln(1/(root(5,e)))= ln(e^(-1/5)) =(-1)/5 }}}.
