Question 577995
It is just a bunch of factors multiplied, that can be multiplied in any order.
As for the exponents, in a power of a power, exponents are multiplied, as is
{{{(c^3)^3=c^(3*3)=c^9}}},
and in a product of powers of the same base, the exponents are added, as in
{{{b*b^2*b=b^1*b^2*b^1=b^(1+2+1)=b^4}}}
The product simplifies like this:
{{{(3abc^3)^3(2ab^2)(a^(-4)*7b)=3^3a^3b^3(c^3)^3(2ab^2)(a^(-4)*7b)=
9a^3b^3c^9(2ab^2)(a^(-4)*7b)=9*2*7a^3aa^(-4)bb^2bc^9=126a^(3+1-4)b^(1+2+1)c^9=126a^0b^4c^9=126*1*b^4c^9=126b^4c^9}}}
The calculator probably correctly answered the question you asked, but you probably asked the wrong question, or did not use the same language the calculator uses.
I believe nowadays all calculators use algebraic notation. That means that they know enough algebra to understand that
20-10/5-3={{{20-10/5-3=20-2-3=15}}} and (20-10)/(5-3)={{{(20-10)/(5-3)=10/2=5}}}
