Question 573065
Converting word problems into algebra problems can be tricky. Let's see how to do this so it gets easier for you.

Let's use M for the number of math books, S for the number of science books.
Timmy has 14 math and science books.
S + M = 14

Tim has 5 times more math books than science books. So,
5 x S = M
S + M = 14

This is the system of equations. Since you didn't ask to solve it, just write the system of equations, I'll assume you can take it from here. :-)
