Question 54426
When dividing fractions, flip the fraction after the division symbol and multiply.
{{{(6p-18)/9p}}} divided by {{{(3p-9)/(p^2+2p)}}} becomes:
{{{((6p-18)/9p)*((p^2+2p)/(3p-9))}}} Now factor the numerators and denoominators of both fractions:
{{{(2*3(p-3)/(3*3p))*(p*(p+2)/(3*(p-3)))}}} Now cancel everything that matches top to bottom:
{{{((2*cross(3)*(cross(p-3)))/((3*3cross(p)))*(cross(p)*(p+2))/(cross(3)*(cross(p-3))))}}}Multiply what's left.
{{{(2/9)*((p+2)/1)}}}
{{{highlight(2(p+2)/9)}}}
Happy Calculating!!!
