Depends. How much do you have to get to pass?

Let *[tex \Large P] represent the mark required to pass. Let *[tex \Large x] represent the grade on the final exam.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ P\ \geq\ 0.70\,\cdot\,0.59\ +\ 0.30x]

A little algebra music, Maestro:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x\ \geq\ \frac{P\ -\ 0.413}{0.30}]

Plug in the appropriate value for *[tex \Large P] and do the arithmetic. Hope that *[tex \Large x\ \leq\ 1.00], or whatever the maximum possible score on the final turns out to be. For example, if a passing grade is a 75%, put a fork in yourself -- you are done.

*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
