Question 554016
2W + 2L = P

Let x= width
x+2 = length

2W + 2L = P
2(x) + 2(x+2) = 24

2x + 2x + 4 = 24
4x +4 = 24

Subtract 4 from each side:
4x=20

Divide by 4:
x= 5 meters Width
x+2 = 7 meters Length

Check:
2*5 + 2*7
10+14=24
