{{{x(t-u)=3t}}} factored x out of the two terms on the left side<br>

{{{x=(3t)/(t-u)}}} divided both sides by (t-u)<br>

Of course our denominator can NOT equal zero, so:<br>

{{{t-u<>0}}}<br>

In other words {{{t<>u}}}<br>

Other than that, t and u can be any real numbers.<br>
