Question 539551
The sum of three consecutive odd integers is 1035. What are the numbers?

Let 1st odd integer be N

Then other 2 are: N + 2, and N + 4

We then have: N + N + 2 + N + 4 = 1,035

3N + 6 = 1,035

3N = 1,029

N, or 1st odd integer = {{{1029/3}}}, or {{{highlight_green(343)}}}

2nd odd integer = N + 2, or 343 + 2, or {{{highlight_green(345)}}}

3rd odd integer = N + 4, or 343 + 4, or {{{highlight_green(347)}}}

OR

Divide 1,035 by 3 to get middle odd integer

{{{1035/3}}} = 345

1st = middle - 2, or 345 - 2, or 343

3rd = middle + 2, or 345 + 2, or 347

You can do the check!!
