Question 537872
I am not sure how to simplify this problem: {{{ (3^(n+2)-3^n)/(3^(n-1)+3^n) }}}
I know that if there was one monomial in the denominator than i would divide each monomial in the numerator by the denominator but i am not sure what to do here.
----------------------
{{{ (3^(n+2)-3^n)/(3^(n-1)+3^n) }}}
Divide NUM and DEN by 3^n
= {{{(3^2 - 1)/(3^(-1) + 1)}}}
= {{{8/(4/3)}}}
= 6
