Question 52695
I may not be understanding the way you typed this in, but here's what I think you meant:
(2abc^5)^3(3a^(4)b^(-4)c^(-3))^3
Multiply the exponents on the outside of the parenthesese by the exponents on the inside of the parenthesese.
(2^(1*3)a^(1*3)b^(1*3)c^(5*3))(3^(1*3)a^(4*3)b^(-4*3)c^(-3*3))
(2^(3)a^(3)b^(3)c^(15))(3^(3)a^(12)b^(-12)c^(-9))
When multiplying like bases, add their exponents.
2^(3)*3^(3)*a^(3+12)*b^(3+(-12))c^(15+(-9))
8*27a^(15)b^(-9)c^(6)
Negative exponents mean that if its base is a numerator it becomes a denominator and the exponent becomes positive.
(216a^(15)c^(6))/(b^(9))
