Question 518012

When you walk on level ground, your {{{head}}} and {{{feet}}} travel the {{{same}}} distance, but when you walk over {{{hills}}}, your head actually travels farther.

In this case, your head travels {{{40ft}}} further, then:

{{{2*pi*(r+h) - 2*pi*r = 40ft}}}

{{{2*pi*r+2*pi*r*h - 2*pi*r = 40ft}}}

{{{2*pi*h = 40ft}}}

{{{h = 40ft/(2*pi) =40ft/6.28= 6.36ft}}}
