Question 512052
Please help me set up a system of equations from this word problem:
------------
Now let us consider fat grams in burgers from three popular fast food restaurants.
The number of fat grams in a Whopper exceeds the fat grams in a Big Mac by eleven.
w = m+11
-----------------

If you add the fat grams in a Whopper and a Sonic Cheeseburger, it is seven less than three times the fat grams in a Big Mac.
w + s = 3m-7
-------------------

Twice the amount of the fat grams in all three is 222.
2w + 2m + s = 222
w + m + s = 111
------------------------

Find the fat content of each burger using the matrix method.
---
Rearrange the 3 equations:
w - m + 0 = 11
w -3m + s = -7
w + m + s = 111
-------------------
I used a matrix method to get:
w = 40.5
m = 29.5
s = 41
