I need a little bit of help with this problem. I have to graph 1/4^x-2, does that mean that I move my vertex right 2 times and up 4 times?

y = (1/4)^(x-2)

If yes, the equation implies a shift of 2 to the right.

But this is a decreasing exponential function; it does
not have a vertex.
