first of all draw the linear function's line of  1/2x-5, then erase the line 
for the x values >-2, so you must erase up to -2 from the positive values of x.
then draw the second funtion's linear line. then agan erase this line up to the x values <=-2 that means erase the line where x values below -2.

Finally You would be able to get two lines intersects to make an angle.
