Question 506905
{{{P=2L+2W}}} Start with the perimeter of a rectangle formula.

{{{P=2(50)+2(25)}}} Plug in {{{L=50}}} and {{{W=25}}}.

{{{P=100+2(25)}}} Multiply {{{2}}} and {{{50}}} to get {{{100}}}.

{{{P=100+50}}} Multiply {{{2}}} and {{{25}}} to get {{{50}}}.

{{{P=150}}} Add {{{100}}} to {{{50}}} to get {{{150}}}.

So the perimeter of a rectangle with length {{{50}}} ft and width {{{25}}} ft is {{{150}}} units.
