Not sure what "ditance" means, but distance is equal to rate times time, therefore time (what you want to know in this case) is equal to distance divided by rate.  Divide 24 miles by 36 miles per hour.  That will give you the fractional number of hours.  Multiply the fraction times 60 if you want the answer in minutes.
