Question 50644
Are you sure it is 4 times the square root of this quantity? Without seeing the problem written, my guess is that you mean the 4th root of this quantity.

This is the difference:

4 times the square root:  {{{4* sqrt(81x^6*y^8) }}}
Fourth root of quantity:  {{{root(4, 81x^6*y^8)}}}

The square root is easiest so I'll do what you asked:

First, you will have to know that 81 is a perfect square (9^2=81), and when you take square roots of variables raised to a power, you must divide the exponents by 2. Now,

{{{4* sqrt(81x^6*y^8) }}}
{{{ 4*9x^3*y^4}}}
{{{ 36x^3*y^4}}}
