Question 497112
Please help me solve this problem below. If only I knew how to set it up then I would understand.
If you go on a road trip of 210 miles in the mountains and one half of the trip is downhill, how many miles of the trip are not downhill?
---
Equation:
uphill + downhill = 210
uphill + (1/2)210 = 210
---
uphill + 105 = 210
uphill = 210-105
uphill = 105 miles
