Question 484923
is there 2 numbers less than 1 that can be multiplied to make a number greater than 1?

I assumed you were in basic math and hadn't studied negative numbers,
as the other tutor did.
So I say:

No! That's like asking

"Can you take a part of a part of a thing and get something greater than a
whole thing?"

No! What a silly question.

All numbers less than 1 are fractional parts of a whole. When you take a
fractional part of another fractional part, you get an even smaller fractional
part -- certainly never more than a whole!

When you take part of something and then take part of that you can never hope
to get more than a whole thing!

However you look at it, the answer is no.
