Question 483375
I need help solving this radical so no radicals are in the denominator.
8 / (2-sqrt(2))
-----------------------
Multiply numerator and denominator by (2+sqrt(2)) to get:
---
= [8(2+sqrt(2)]/[4+2]
---
= (4/3)(2+sqrt(2)
----
= (8/3) + (4/3)sqrt(2)
